  • Correction of arrhythmia (abnormal heart rhythm).

  • Preventing further blood clotting using aspirin or clopidogrel and anticoagulants such as heparin.

  • The opening of the artery in which the blood flow is disturbed should be corrected as soon as possible by performing angioplasty or with the help of drugs that dissolve the blood clot.

  • Calcium channel blockers or angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors are prescribed to improve the coronary arteries and heart muscle.
